Jamaican's have a funny way of looking at things. I remember being around some folks who remarked on a girl wearing an anklet. The conversation turned biblical. "Anklets meant WOMEN OF THE NIGHT, prostitutes, heathens." As a teenager at the time, this affected me so much I never wore or bought an anklet. How silly.
